Skin conditions like moles, skin tags, clogged pores or skin breakouts are very common and most likely at one point or another you have, or will, have to deal with them.

Dealing with them usually involves using various skin care products, which have mixed results, yet they all have one thing in common – they are very expensive!

Paying for chemicals that may or may not be effective seems like a last resort. Instead you should always seek out natural remedies first, as they are safe and a lot of the time even more effective at relieving the condition.

Check these natural solutions out:

Moles

These are very common and can appear during childhood or as an adult. Sun exposure or genetics can cause these close groupings of skin pigmentation cells called melanocytes.

Garlic

Either plain garlic or garlic extract can be used effectively at eliminating moles. First protect skin around the mole with masking tape or petroleum jelly. Next, take the extract or pressed garlic to the mole and then cover it up with a bandage, leaving on for four hours. Repeat every day.

Castor Oil and Baking Soda

Mix castor oil and baking soda into a gummy-like paste. Then apply to mole. Cover with bandage, leave on overnight. In the morning take it off and rinse area. Repeat every night.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Awesome for removing moles! Take a cotton ball, soak in ACV, then apply to mole. Tape it up with medical tape or a bandage and leave on for 8 hours. Eventually the mole will blacken and fall right off!

Warts

Caused by HPV or human papilloma virus, these appear as small bumps on skin or on the mucous membranes. Usually salicylic acid or freezing is used for treatment, though there is also the duct tape method! But give these treatments a try first:

Bananas

Simple way to get rid of warts. Rub the wart every night with a banana peel. Repeat this for 2 weeks and you should see your wart completely go away.

Pure Raw Honey

Honey can be used to get rid of warts. Simply rub it on the wart, then wrap it with a bandage at night. It will be removed and this method sometimes prevent them from returning.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Very beneficial for wart removal. Simply soak a cotton ball with ACV and then put a bandage over wart and leave for 24 hours. Do again and replace with a new bandage. Eventually the wart will shrivel and go away.

Garlic

Either crushed garlic or garlic juice can be used to get rid of a wart in 2 weeks. Rub crushed garlic on the wart, then put a bandage over it every night. You can also put garlic juice on the wart twice a day.

Skin Tags

Skin growths that stick out from the skins surface are considered skin tags. They appear on the neck, upper chest, underarms and eyelids. Skin rubbing against skin is a common cause. You can tie them, cut them, and freeze them off, but you can also use these natural remedies:

Apple Cider Vinegar

Soak a cotton ball in ACV. Next, squeeze to remove excess and dab the tag with the ACV. Finally leave it in place for as long as you want, and in several days the tag will darken up and eventually it will fall right off.

Tea Tree Oil

A couple drops of tea tree oil on a cotton ball which has been soaked in water, then dabbed on the tag 2-3 times a day for a month should do the trick. This is ideal to use for skin tags around the eyes as it is the safest.

Baking Soda and Castor Oil

Mix to achieve a paste and then apply to the tag. Secure with bandage. This mix can be put in the fridge up to 48 hours, so you can use the same paste 2-3 times a day until you need to make a fresh batch.

Dark Spots

These are discolored patches on the face, hands and forearms. Aging liver and sun exposure can be to blame, though no one is certain why they appear. Heres remedies for dark spots:

Lemon

Works great for dark spot removal. Acts as a natural bleach. Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice, then rub on the spot twice a day.

Aloe Vera

Also works great for dark spots. Put it on and leave for 30 minutes. Best to use the inner gel of a fresh aloe plant. You can even grow these and keep them as house plants.

Onion

Works great and all you have to do is juice or blend an onion up and apply to the spot. Do this daily and it should vanish.

Horseradish

Mix with vinegar and apply the mix to the spot daily and slowly, it will fade away.

Vitamin C Serums

There are hand made and organic vitamin C serums that will work awesome for skin, quickly eliminating dark spots, while repairing damaged skin.

Clearing Out Clogged Pores

Oil buildup is the cause of clogged pores and the result can be bumpy looking skin, destroying that smooth appearance. While not serious, if you dont clean them they can become infected.

Sugar Scrub

A good way to unclog pores is through exfoliating. Use sugar and lemon to make a paste. Rub with organic cotton washcloth in a circular motion on the clogged up pores. Then wash face and use warm water to rinse.

Steaming

This is probably the best and most effective way to unclog pores. First wash your face, then put your face over a pot that has water boiling, while covering your head with a towel. You want to be exposed by as much steam as possible. Keep it there for 10-15 minutes, then wash face and rinse with warm water. Put some vinegar to clean up excess debris.
