Early Liver Disease Symptoms

Early liver disease symptoms and signs usually don't occur. Symptoms of liver disease don't often appear until the later stages of most liver conditions, and by then the liver may have suffered serious or permanent damage.

You can't live without a functioning liver. Once liver failure occurs, there's only one option for survival: a liver transplant. That's why it's important to recognize liver disease symptoms and signs as early as possible.

Liver function tests are among the most helpful diagnostic tools doctors use to identify early liver disease symptoms. Unfortunately, since most people don't often realize they have a problem, they don't talk to their doctor about getting them.

When liver disease symptoms and signs do begin to appear, they might include

Irregular sleep, including a tendency to sleep at odd hours and wake up in the middle of the night.
Low or fluctuating energy levels. Lows tend to come in mid morning and mid afternoon.
Losing weight becomes even more difficult than usual, even though you eat smarter and start exercising.
Your skin and eyes will start to have a yellowish tint. Other skin problems conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and general itchiness may appear.
You may experience bad reactions to drugs and medications like headache pills, antibiotics and anti-histamines.
Drinking even small amounts of alcohol even small amounts of alcohol can make you feel inebriated. You'll feel intense hangovers when you drink.
Caffeine will have a much stronger effect and could keep you awake for hours.
You may experience digestion problems, especially with creamy, oily and fatty foods. You may even feel nauseous after you eat them.
You have stomach bloating and gas more often than usual.
Eating asparagus will cause a strange smell in your urine. This is a classic early liver disease symptom.
You'll occasionally experience a warm, flush feeling will start in your trunk and rise upward toward the head.

You'll begin to get frequent headaches, heartburn and acid reflux.
Certain substances may cause a severe reaction, especially cleaning products, gasoline, paint, perfumes, bleaches, and so on.

Recognizing early liver disease symptoms and signs early is critical to successful treatment. The farther a liver disease progresses, the more dangerous it becomes.

Unfortunately, many liver disease symptoms don't appear until a significant amount of damage has been done and liver function has been compromised.

+John Doe Er, haven’t seen any data to support your theory that cirrhosis
and liver cancer can be cured by drinking water. But thanks for your input

how many people suffer from insomnia, so that is a symptoms of liver
disease? how many people get indigestion, heartburn, and have a hard time
losing weight. these symptoms can apply to most of the population, on an on
and off basis. but the asparagus one, well that one takes the cake. you are
    right, this video is lame.

+Niniey Karliniey Spicy food’s great, if you don’t have a liver problem,
then it acts as an irritant. But he was very bad with it. He never ate
dairy, not part of the diet here. You sound as though you’ve just had a
reaction to spicy food. Happens if you’re not eating it daily, as everyone
does here. You don’t look like a boozer 😀 So don’t worry 🙂

I say bullshit!! I damaged my liver pretty bad. I lost 20 lbs of muscle
with a 6 week period when i realized my liver was damaged then i treated it
myself by fasting and juicing and I am fine now… i didnt need a liver
transplant and on top of that i reversed my gray hair during the process of
    healing myself..

You’re in a very small minority of those knowing they have a liver problem
and doing something about it. For many they either don’t bother or it’s too
late anyway. Good for you 🙂

Yes, I would fast for around 20 hours a day and during my eating period I
would only eat raw fruits and veggies, I would juice celery, dandelion,
cilantro, cucumber, beets, carrots, purple cabbage, broccoli, radishes,
spinach, kale, turmeric and other greens… i also used Chinese medicine
using different herbs and roots… stay away from animal products, smoking
      and drinking alcohol..

Is all the time dizziness and fatigue a sign of liver disease and no matter
how much you sleep you still feel tired and sleepy when you get up? And
when you feel sleepy you lay down to sleep and you can’t sleep – is that a
    sign also?

Have a comprehensive liver panel done with PT. Pay attention to AST, ALT,
bilirubin, GGTP, albumin, platelets, and PT….best way to tell if you have
liver disease. Stop drinking and exercise regularly….you can get healthy
    again in most cases.
